Interned at CNN Medical during the 2014 ebola outbreak, assisting the CNN team in providing round-the-clock updates during the crisis.
Ran social media for the Center for Disease Control's Community Preventative Services Task Force and helped improve their metrics, including overall followers.
Covered San Diego Comic-Con and New York Comic Con as press for Fandom.com, learning to navigate new cities while also covering conventions as a novice.
Started an entertainment podcast, Freaky Fandoms, that she co-hosted for nearly a year.
For Freaky Fandoms, she arranged and conducted interviews with entertainment industry icons, including Uwe Boll and Bruce Campbell.

Fandom Mini-Doc

Fandom.com sent four writers from their Fan Contributor program, including Dani, to San Diego Comic-Con 2016. There, the writers were able to interview talent, attend panels and write about them for the website, and get a real taste of entertainment journalism. During that time, film crews followed Dani and the other contributors to document their experiences.

This mini-documentary is the result of Dani's time in San Diego.
